Altek releases a new 12 megapixel model, T8680 by august 2009. It has got 3x optical zoom, detects a persons face, detects when he/she smile. It also provides blue tooth facility with A2DP along with USB ports. Provides touch screen facility and FM radio too. The battery, 1020mAh, once fully charged stays active for 4 hours when in use continuously and 50 hours in standby mode. Weight is around 135g and measures 13.5x52x16.6mm in dimensions.
The total cost comes around us $440 in China where it will be launched initially.
